We cordially invite you to join us as we celebrate the union of Pinky & Kamal in a Hindu wedding ceremony. The ceremony will take place under a canopy-like structure called a mandap. A Hindu priest will officiate the ceremony as Pinky, Kamal and relatives will perform specific roles under his guidance. More detailed information will be available in our wedding program provided on the day.

There are a lot of fun traditions surrounding Indian weddings. Starting from the Baarat - this procession is attended by the all the relatives and friends from the groom's side who will walk and dance with him. The bride's mother and sister will then welcome the groom's family at the entrance. Another is the bride's cousins will try to steal the groom's shoes as he takes them off before entering the mandap. The groom must pay the bride's cousins in order to get them back because he is supposed to leave the mandap with the same shoes he came in. There are many more, so keep a look out!
